About Me
Meet Kevin Foley
Kevin Foley is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC), and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) serving clients in Ohio and Arizona through Mental Fortitude Therapy.
For more than 35 years, Kevin has worked alongside adolescents, adults, families, leaders, first responders, and individuals navigating some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
But Kevin’s understanding of resilience does not come from education alone.
Born with cerebral palsy, having experienced personal loss, marriage, divorce, parenting, leadership, coaching, and decades of service to others, Kevin brings both professional expertise and real-world life experience into the therapy process.
Clients often describe Kevin as calm, relatable, validating, practical, and deeply insightful.
His therapeutic approach combines emotional awareness, neuroscience, practical psychology, visual learning tools, mindfulness-based concepts, and real-life wisdom to help clients:
- better understand themselves,
- reduce emotional reactivity,
- build mental and emotional strength,
- and learn how to respond to life with greater calm and clarity.
Kevin believes that many people are not fundamentally broken — they have simply learned to react from fear, pain, stress, hopelessness, or survival-based patterns.
His work helps clients move from emotional overwhelm toward calm observation, intentional adjustment, and greater confidence in themselves and their future.
